Andrew Reynolds’s 2014 two-song Battle Commander part has almost too much good stuff in it. And it reinforces the fact that Reynolds can skate to any kind of music and it’d be proper (I mean, Bruce Springsteen? Oh… “The Boss,” I get it). Get the uncut roll away on his fakie varial heel ender here, then go back and watch the whole thing again—along with the equally sick Battle Commander B-Sides and his revealing Command Briefing.

The Most Epic Battle In BATB History | The Berrics

The Berrics – The premise of 2014’s “Pros vs. Joes,” our seventh season of BATB, was simple: unknowns go up against the best in the biz. It was also the first Battle At The Berrics Finals to be broadcast live. So, when Michigan’s Cody Cepeda pulled off an upset against odds-on favorite Luan Oliveira the whole world could experience the resulting mayhem in The Berrics. The crowd of fans jumped off the bleachers; the stampede knocked all the barriers over. The 1,000 or so fans in the arena joined hundreds of thousands more who were glued to their screens, witnessing history in the making. Well, that’s definitely one way to get known. Cepeda and Oliveira both returned in 2018 for BATB 11. This time, Oliveira rolled away with the vic—he’s still our reigning champ. Boo Johnson | ‘ExChange’ | The Berrics

The Berrics – Boo Johnson has inspired countless young skaters with his effortless style and talent, but he wants to influence the community to think about the bigger picture, as well. By seizing this year’s Go Skateboarding Day as an opportunity to bring inequality and racist violence to the forefront, Johnson’s ‘Push For Peace’ protest made an enormous impact. He shares the motivation behind his activism in The Berrics x StockX’s latest ‘Exchange’ episode. Join us in celebrating the influence of black and brown skateboarders on our culture—Alphonzo Rawls’s ‘Thank You’ decks are available exclusively via DropX at StockX.com, and proceeds will support Next Up Foundation and the nonprofit’s mission to encourage kids of all backgrounds to skate.
