Most people, I would argue, have love-hate relationships with their home town. The spots are shitty, so many homies stopped skating, the scene changed. But at the end of the day, there’s no place like home. Ilja always wanted to film a part in his home town Wuppertal. He moved to Berlin years ago yet and had some really productive years after a foot injury knocked him out of the game for 2 years. But the mission remained on his bucket list. In the past months, he spent a lot of time with his Family in Wuppertal and made good use of this isolating time by finally attacking this project. Dennis Hardwardt did not hesitate to document these home town sessions.

Pocket Skateboard Magazine – ARCHIE, by Philippe Mottet, is a shared video part of Alina Saytkhanova & Aura Brédart. Both from Belgium, both female skaters. You would think these two factors would be enough for them to know each other well. But as a matter of fact, they don’t know each nor skate together. Philippe Mottet seamlessly connects these two talented skateboarders through this edit. Small world they say, right? Archie is now their bond and we are happy to share their skateboarding with you. Pocket Skateboard Magazine – Dylan Jaeb is one of the most promising talents that popped up in the past year and this while only being 16 years of age. The Hawaiian who moved to SoCal 4 years ago has an unbelievable board control and is making difficult stuff look way too easy. After being amazed by his Instagram output and his tricks in the latest ZERO video “Damn It All”, we wanted to know what a day in his life looks like. Follow us as we join Dylan for a morning run, skating, visiting Jamie Thomas at ZERO, more skating and lots of sugary food and beverages in between.
