In the latest installment of The FADER’s Top Five, rapper and producer Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks, also known as #JPEGMAFIA, lists his top five white people. Placing at number five is Jim Carrey, “a solid white man” according to Hendricks, though nothing compared to Disney Channel’s own Hilary Duff. “She’s so white, but it doesn’t bother me at all,” explains Hendricks as he geeks through her catalogue: “Lizzie McGuire: fire. ‘So Yesterday’ — fire.” Whether or not he would rap on one of her songs though, Hendricks confesses, “depends on the money.”

Hanging out with Chloe x Halle | The FADER

The FADER – When they’re not rehearsing for some of the most impressively executed live performances we’ve seen this side of quarantine, Chloe and Halle Bailey really are just like you. That is, if you possess the diligence to be up and ready to work out before 9 A.M. We caught up with the sisters just ahead of the release of their new album Ungodly Hour where they showed us their daily fitness routine, as well as what Chloe has been building with Legos and what Halle has been reading ahead of her starring role in the forthcoming live-action remake of The Little Mermaid. #ChloexHalle #UngodlyHour Subscribe now for more The FADER  http://bit.ly/XPZVfG Read the FADER: http://www.thefader.com Follow the FADER on Twitter: https://twitter.com/thefader Like the FADER on Facebook: http://on.fb.me/11JaNSJ Follow the FADER on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thefader/

Pink Sweats, Yung Baby Tate, and Jucee Froot are hilarious together | …

The FADER – Quarantine may be getting in the way of bringing unsuspecting artists together IRL to go back and forth on whatever questions we throw at them, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have them do that digitally. That’s exactly what happened when Memphis rapper #JuceeFroot, Atlanta renaissance woman #YungBabyTate, and Philly crooner #PinkSweats joined us via video call for our newest installment of Would You Rather. On this episode, the three artists — all of whom are featured on this season of Insecure’s soundtrack — have quite a few hilarious takes. You’ll find that Yung Baby Tate wants her own action figure that it’s equally cute and thick. If it was up to him, Pink Sweats would have a building dedicated to him in Philly with (of course) pink accents. And Jucee Froot would not date someone who still uses an Android phone.
