Fresh off her current “Lift-Face” show presented by LA’s 24HR PSYCHIC, Jiberish has partnered with artist Lisa Solberg to produce 10 limited-edition collaborative skate decks. The skate decks echo Solberg’s “Lift-Face” show that touches upon issues of self-identification through reflective surfaces. Using Gold Candy automotive paint, the pieces feature a mirrored surface that references LA’s Finish Fetish movement of the 1960s.

Lisa became a part of the Jiberish family in the early days as a Jiberish athlete and has remained a friend over the past eight years while expanding as an artist. After a number of nights out at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival we opened up the discussion for a collaboration to debut in 2014.

We celebrated the release of these decks during Sundance Film Festival at the Jiberish Vault store.

Jiberish – In his second edit with Jiberish Jon ‘Deezle’ Depoian takes us on a tour of his hometown of Kalamazoo Michigan. On a short 3 day layover Deezle managed to slay his home stomping ground before heading back to his current residence in skate mecca Huntington Beach California.
