Afends muse and all-round rockstar, Elodie Gervaise let us revel in her new single, Rust. In a hazy Parisian dream, we drifted through the city with Elodie, her honey-soaked voice circling around a vine-covered courtyard and filling her apartment and dancing off rooftops. Gervaise’s magic scattered through every harmonious second, we felt inspired by the Aussie singer to stop and smell the flowers (literally). Head to toe in the latest Women’s collection, using a mix of digital and film to capture each look, these pieces never looked more on point. Sporting an all-white ensemble to start, with the new Shannen shirt tucked into our favourite Campbell shorts, this fresh and feminine get up set us on our way through the French capital that Gervaise calls home. Embracing the monochromatic palette, jumping from black to white in the Juliette crop and Sharona singlet whether it is effortlessly waiting for the metro or sliding through skateboarders, the endorphins kicked in. And finally, fulfilling all our gingham dreams, the Ryder pants and Winona bucket, the perfect match takes us to the end of this short but oh so sweet film, bisous.

Afends – High up in the hills of Hollywood, longtime friend of Afends and Byron-based photographer, Tess Leopold, worked her magic capturing L.A based head-turner, Isa Andreeva, clad in our beloved Poppy Check capsule and handpicked favourites from our latest collection. Taking us up to the heights of Los Angeles, looking over the City of Angels, you can’t help but feel pleasantly unattached from the chaos of society way up here behind the signs and the pavement palms. Shot with the creative combination of videographer Cal Travis Oaks and of course Leopold, the end result was stripped back and lawless: the exposing of a more bona fide Hollywood. Via the burnt and broken highways, we hit the dirt tracks in a Wagoneer Jeep with Cali chick Isa Andreeva. Sporting the Poppy Check capsule, a fusion which softens the aspect of punk and toughens up the retro to create a range that speaks its own language. A ruling story, the jacquard design combines plaid and our mod floral motif in both a lightweight cotton-rayon blend and a heavier twill fabrication. Paired with some worn-out docs, this is a day to night-night to day kind of capsule. Back down in La La Land, we couldn’t help but play matchmaker with our checkered wardrobe and monochrome classics. On the graphics side of things, we featured our No Worries slogan tee to spread the sentiment. A retro o-ring polo tee complimented our much loved Marsha flares, now updated in a classic blue denim and black peached twill. Matches were made, timeless duos were born and our latest range came to life in the Hollywood Hills. Afends – As Kerouac once said: LA is a jungle. We came to the hills that host the richest of film and fame history to shoot the best of our newest collection with latest Afends ambassador, Reece Salken, and Californian native, AJ. Through the creative lens of LA local Guenth and videographer Garcia-Quintero, we took off in nothing less than a stretched white limousine with champagne in hand for a day in the untamed streets, along the walk of fame and through the nostalgic hotels to showcase our very Hollywood related range. With jacquard chain detailing, thick corduroy, hemp denim sets and Brodie Jackson’s array of artwork, we present: Photographer: Nate Guenth @guenth_ Model: AJ @khriistiangrey Model: Reese Salken @yungsalk Videographer: @garciaxquintero View the latest blog here:
