Love foreign skating? This new edit sent to us by Kenta Okamoto is the perfect balance of style and substance in a world where a lot of skate edits either have one or the other. The spots are unique and pleasing to the eye, much like the styles of the numerous skaters featured.

Our favorite part, though, is the music. As any editor can attest, finding a track that complements the visuals can be one of the hardest steps in the video process, but Kenta found a seamless fit that gives the edit an introspective edge that few editors would have thought to venture toward.

In other words, no hard thrashing beer-and-weed-fueled garage punk here.

JENKEM – Hanging Out With… Moose | jenkemmag

jenkemmag – Without knowing much about him in advance, we linked up with Moose (no, not the Deathwish one) in Queens Village to see what life at the edge of NYC is like. It’s closer to Long Island than it is Manhattan, but it has that old New York feeling where you need to keep on your toes just to make sure things don’t go south on you. Just watch and you’ll see what we’re talking about. Despite all the craziness that surrounds him, we found out Moose has a good head on his shoulders and a solid crew backing him up, so expect to see him steadily move up in the ranks. PREMIERE: Richard Stickney in "Smile" | jenkemmag

jenkemmag – For most of us sitting through a manual part is like a sitting through a vert part: Boring, safe and skippable. That’s why when we were sent Richard’s part in Smile, we were so confused. We watched it multiple times, and every time we found ourselves getting more and more roped into these twirly manny combos. Video by: Cornerstore Skateboards Their Full Length “SMILE” Drops tomorrow.
