JENKEM – Ryan Reyes Answers Your Questions on Psychedelics | jen…

jenkemmag – After doing a video with Ryan Reyes on non-psychedelic mushrooms, we decided to hit him up again and do something that took advantage of his psychedelic knowledge, since he’s gotten pretty deep into magic mushrooms, LSD, DMT, and the whole tie-dye pharmacy. We put out a call a few weeks back for questions, then had Ryan film himself answering as many as possible. Some questions got cut for being repetitive or just too dumb, but we kept enough to cover a bunch of different topics and common concerns people have when considering psychedelic drugs. Wanna know how to get the most out of your psychedelic experiences, what role your environment plays, how to effectively microdose, or just the best way to keep mushrooms fresh? Well, Ryan’s got some answers. MORE INFO: http://www.jenkemmag.com/home/2019/08/14/ryan-reyes-answers-questions-psychedelics/

JENKEM – Checking Out Carpet Company’s Pop-Up Shop In Balt…

jenkemmag – Everyone and their best friends roommate runs a board brand these days, so cutting through the fray can feel like an impossible challenge. You need big-name riders, stockists and distributors, and a constant flow of products to make even the smallest ripple, but Ayman and Osama Abdeldayem are getting Carpet Company to buzz without any of that stuff. The two brothers started out of basements in their hometown of Baltimore, Maryland, focusing heavily on craftsmanship and an insane attention to detail. That means individually-numbered boards, laser-etched logos, hand-screened graphics, and custom sewing that makes each Carpet Co. item entirely unique. Whether it’s a tee or a board, you know that what you’re getting is one of a kind. Their approach has garnered attention from shops across the States and the rest of the world, and they’ve built the brand’s rapport and sales up enough to get themselves their own space right outside downtown Baltimore. It’ll serve as their own screen printing facility, shipping and receiving HQ, and pop-up shop (but only twice a year, to coincide with their drops). We couldn’t get away from the office to go visit ourselves, so one of their friends stopped by to get some sketchy footage of Ayman and Osama in their new element and hear how they started and what they have planned for the future.
