Roger Gastman follows up his 2011 show at the MOCA in Los Angeles, “Art in the Streets,” with a new exhibition that touts itself as the biggest street art show ever.

Titled “Beyond the Streets,” the exhibition builds upon Gastman’s previous effort with 40,000+ sq ft of industrial indoor and outdoor space – including a full-size, playable handball court and historical recreation of the Venice Pavilion by adidas Skateboarding.

Artists participating in the exhibition include André Saraiva, Barry McGee, DABSMYLA, Dennis Hopper, FUTURA 2000, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, POSE, RETNA, REVOK, RIME, Shepard Fairey, Takashi Murakami, and 100+ others.

Enjoy a tour of the massive show from Gastman above and make sure to drop by from now until July 6. Head here to purchase advanced tickets. https://www.beyondthestreets.com/

Dede Lovelace Reviews This Summer’s Hottest Shades From Thom Bro…

highsnobiety – ‘Betty,’ HBO’s new series inspired by Crystal Moselle’s 2018 film ‘Skate Kitchen,’ has just about everything you want from a bingeable summer series to consume in quarantine. It’s fresh, it’s fun, and it introduces us to five incredible women who you’ll want to be your best friends within minutes — as the show pretty succinctly states, “It’s called being down for my girls.” It’s practically a bonus that these women are stylish as hell. With that in mind, we could think of no one better than Dede Lovelace (who stars as Janay) to be our Guest Eyewear Critic. Watch our video above to get her thoughts on an array of summer sunnies inspo — including Thom Browne (“Dope”), Gentle Monster, and Oakley.
