If your roommate tells you that there is a homeless person standing in front of the door constantly asking for you and just won´t leave, you’d better have a look: Maybe he’ll present you the “Skater of the Year” trophy out of the blue. That’s what happened to Leo Romero when Jake Phelps personally presented him the most sought after title in skateboarding in 2010. Even ten years later, Leo shows no signs of slowing down, as his video part in Toy Machine’s “Programming Injection” clearly shows. How he came up with the idea to skate UP handrails, whether he has ever posed naked in front of Ed Templeton and where his SOTY Trophy is sitting at can be found out in this new episode of „The G-Files“.

Ramp construction manual – how to build a quarterpipe | Titus

Titus – Even though there’s countless skateparks in Germany nowadays, very few skateboarders can claim to have one right outside their own front door. Especially during the current pandemic, many people prefer to stay close to home and avoid long trips with public transport. But, what if you live in a village and all you have is a small concrete pad to skate? Quite simply: head “back to the roots” and build something yourself! Even if it’s only a 50cm high quarterpipe, you’ll surely have fun riding it for a good while. To make sure your ramp will last a long time, we’ve compiled a little quarterpipe building instruction for you on the Titus Blog. Have fun building and shredding!
