slowthai swept through 2019 like a hurricane of punk energy and politically-charged intent. His non-stop touring barely gave him chance to stop by The Mercury Awards to collect his Album of the Year shortlist prize but, while in Manchester for a sold out tour show, he requested that we let him in to The Depot at Mayfield for a little look around.
Unsure that the Industrial-era train depot would be able to withstand the raucous nature of his performances, he wanted to double-check that everything was in order before he returns on December 7th to co-headline Highsnobiety Soundsystem x The Warehouse Project.
The massive 10,000 capacity venue will be the host of slowthai’s biggest headline to date, and will see him perform alongside Fredo, Mike Skinner of The Streets, CASisDead, Flohio, Children of Zeus, Places+Faces, Tiffany Calver, Bakar, and many many more.
